                    Caption: Figure 1.
Intra-binary shock geometry in the orbital plane, here for a mass ratio q = 20 (RB-like), a wind momentum ratio ﹩\beta =0.05﹩, and a relative velocity ﹩{f}_{v}=1/3﹩. The wind origin is placed halfway toward the companion “nose” facing the L1 point. The wind angles ﹩\theta ,{\theta }_{1}﹩ are shown for the ﹩{f}_{v}=\infty ﹩ case without sweep back. The local intensity of the swept shock surface is indicated by point size and the shock inclination angles and post-shock beaming are shown for one ray.
