A set of poloidal flux functions ﹩{\Psi }(\xi ,\varsigma )﹩ for the polar region electron open field lines is illustrated with contour values ﹩C=0.002,0.006,0.012﹩ ordered from the polar axis toward the equator. The radius of the pulsar is taken as ﹩{{\xi }_{{\rm pulsar}}}=0.3﹩.
