Same as Figure 5, but without normalization applied and individual data points removed. All 39 Cepheids are plotted, each with a smooth curve that follows the adopted reddening law. Cepheid fits excluded from the final distance calculation are plotted in red; these include the steep outliers and those discussed in the text. The lines of reddening intercept λ⁻¹ = 0 at the true modulus.
