Normalized distribution of K-band luminosities of the most likely members (see Appendix E) of the disk (red solid) and the remaining stars (black dashed). A two-sample KS test yields a probability of 87% that the most likely disk members have the same KLF as the remainder of the sample. We caution that the K-band magnitudes in this figure are observed magnitudes and have not been corrected for completeness or extinction effects.
