The velocity contribution from both the stars and gas is ignored in the zero disk case. The minimal disk case considers the gas contribution and assumes a lightweight IMF for the stars. The popsynth case includes the gas contribution and uses population synthesis models to determine the stellar contribution. The maximum disk case includes the gas contribution, and the stellar mass‐to‐light ratio is scaled up as far as the data will allow.
