A 2.12 μm S(1) line + continuum image showing the reflection nebula NGC 2182, which was recorded in our large WFCAM image but not included in Fig. 1. In contrast to optical and infrared continuum images, this image shows strong, filamentary, and knotty S(1) emission suggesting emission from the shock front of an expanding shell.
