Spectra for six representative objects from the variable quasar sample. In each panel, the upper line is the bright‐phase spectrum, while the lower line is the difference spectrum. Redshift (z) is displayed for each quasar. All flux densities are in units of 10⁻¹⁷ ergs s⁻¹ cm⁻² Å⁻¹. All spectra are boxcar smoothed with a smoothing length of 20 pixels.
