Influence of the corona temperature on the spatial behavior of the magnetosonic Mach number. For a stellar corona temperature of ﹩4\times 10^{6}﹩ K (solid line) smaller magnetosonic Mach numbers are achieved compared with lower temperatures of 106 K (dashed line) and ﹩5\times 10^{5}﹩ K (dashed‐dotted line). The dotted line indicates the transition region between the submagnetosonic regime and the magnetosonic regime.
