Photon spectrum dependence on μ. A sample of photon spectra is shown for ﹩B_{*}=10^{12}﹩ G and seed photon energy ﹩\varepsilon =3000﹩, for various cosine complements ﹩\mu .﹩ Spectra for angles smaller than ﹩\mu =10^{-7}﹩ are identical to the spectrum shown for ﹩\mu =10^{-7}﹩. Vertical offsets have been made for clarity. These typify the spectral shapes found: a gradual steepening with energy is seen, often with a high‐energy break above which the spectrum sharply steepens. The points at ﹩\epsilon =3000﹩ are seed photons that did not create pairs.
