Similar to Fig. 2, but for the models belonging to the ﹩M=0.4758+0.0002﹩ M_⊙ sequence and that have been artificially modified to minimize the effects of the C‐O/He transition zone on the period evolution. This is achieved by forcing a value of zero for the Ledoux term B (which contains the contributions of composition gradients to the Brunt‐Väisälä frequency) in the transition region.
