Same as Fig. 2, but the expected ICM fluxes are derived by fitting N_H. Soft excess fluxes in some regions of A3571 remain nonetheless unexplained. In order to eliminate such excesses, we estimate that an N_H of ﹩4.05^{+0.15}_{-0.2}\times 10^{20}﹩ (4^{﹩\arcmin﹩}–8^{﹩\arcmin﹩} region) and ﹩3^{+0.5}_{-0.4}\times 10^{20}﹩ (12^{﹩\arcmin﹩}–16^{﹩\arcmin﹩} region) would be required, significantly lower than the measured values (see Table 1).
