FUSE spectrum of ESO 141−G55. Bright airglow lines have been truncated. This spectrum has a resolution of ﹩R\simeq 12,000﹩ and ﹩\mathrm{S}\,/ \mathrm{N}\,\approx 15﹩ per smoothed (30 km s−1) bin (1040–1050 Å) and ﹩\mathrm{S}\,/ \mathrm{N}\,\approx 25﹩ at 1070 Å. Lower (red) and upper (blue) ticks mark the detected Lyman and Werner lines of H2, respectively. The interstellar and intergalactic lines are analyzed further by Shull et al. (2000).
