The polarization map was calculated with bins of 0﹩\farcs﹩42 square, and only vectors with greater than 3σ statistical significance are plotted. The bar in the lower right corner shows the length of a vector with 100% polarization. The lower panel shows the WFPC2 F702W image of the same region. This image includes a substantial contribution from Hα and [N II].
