Angular intensity cuts in the top and bottom lobes of the data and model Hα images (along arcs q′q and rr′ in Fig. 6). For each lobe, the cut center is located 8﹩\farcs﹩5 from the nebular center along the nebular axis in the opposite lobe. The cuts are 0﹩\farcs﹩3 wide, with a radius of curvature of 12﹩\farcs﹩65. An offset angle of 0° corresponds to positions along q′q and rr′ that lie on the nebular axis. At offset angles of ±(15°–20°), the arcs intersect the bright walls of the nebula.
