BAL QSO 0134+3253 spectrum in the observed frame. The QSO redshift from the broad emission lines is 2.169. The spectrum has been smoothed with a Gaussian filter of σ = 3 Å. The narrow absorption lines come from an intervening absorption system at zabs = 1.667. The inset shows the C IV trough in the reference frame of the QSO. The spectrum in the inset has not been smoothed.
