Absorption coefficients (mm−1) of JSC-1 were obtained from P. J. Godin et al. (2023) for 150 μm (top) and 850 μm (bottom) grain sizes to determine subsurface pF10 depths. The x- and y-axes display Martian latitude and solar longitude respectively. The colour bars represent increasing depth within the subsurface as colours change from blue to yellow.
