Caption: Figure 1.
TESS PDCSAP light curve of KIC 8462852 shown as three zoomed panels covering the three TESS observing windows: Sectors 14–15 (2019 July–October, top), Sector 41 (2021 July–August, middle), and Sectors 54–55 (2022 July–September, bottom). Each sector is normalized to its median and the data are binned to 30 minutes for display; the analysis itself uses native 2 minute cadence. Horizontal dashed lines mark the ±0.5% null-result band. Inset (top panel): histogram of detrended flux at native cadence with a Gaussian overlay matching the MAD-based scatter σMAD = 0.24%; the 99th-percentile dip depth is δ99 = 0.58%. The labeled ∼22 minutes excursion near BTJD 1730 is an 11-cadence cluster whose duration is too short to be a Boyajian-class event; we do not claim it as a detection (Section 2).
