Caption: Figure 1.

An ultracool dwarf spectral sequence (M7 V to T9) from 0.9 to 5 μm. The spectra in the left panel were produced using xcavation while the spectra in the right panel were produced using the IPAC/IRSA Spectrophotometry Tool. Prominent absorption features are indicated in color. Spectra from the SpeX-Prism Library are shown in both panels in gray. We masked out points with apertures containing the flags 0, 1, 10, and 11 for xcavation, and masked flags greater than 4294967296 for the IPAC/IRSA Spectrophotometry Tool (see Section 9 of IRSA SPHEREx Tutorials (https://caltech-ipac.github.io/irsa-tutorials/spherex-intro/) for additional details).
