Top: Color-composite unWISE images of GALEX J211240.9–422959 (at center of black circles). W1 is rendered as the blue channel and W2 is rendered as the red channel. The object effectively disappears in WISE around early 2019 to early 2022, as confirmed in the middle panel light curve. Middle: optical and infrared light curve of J2112. Note that WISE magnitudes are in the Vega system whereas optical magnitudes are in AB. Bottom: GMOS optical spectrum of J2112. The spectrum displays a blue continuum with strong, broad emission lines associated with the hydrogen Balmer series (Hα through Hζ) and neutral helium (He I), confirming the classification as a cataclysmic variable.
