Predicted flux from magnetic reconnection in the vicinity of the BH for a TDE at z ∼ 0.01. The red shaded regions correspond to reconnection rates of β_rec = 0.1 (collisionless regime; upper curve) and β_rec = 0.01 (collisional regime; lower curve), respectively. The black curve shows the sensitivity of AMEGO for an exposure time of 10⁶ s (J. McEnery et al. 2019). The predicted MeV gamma-ray emission is expected to precede the prompt emission (see Figure 2).
