Dependence of PD on observer inclination for selected energies. We average over the orientations of the plasmoid motion, and the PD thus vanishes as the inclination goes to 0. It rises with inclination with the exception of the highest-inclination bin where the extreme geometries of scatterings lead to a small PD decrease. All points are drawn at the centers of the energy bins.
