Total synchrotron brightness of the simulated ORC within a radius of r < 500h ⁻¹ cMpc for our chosen CR acceleration efficiencies models. We use a constant magnetic field strength of B = 5 μG for all synchrotron emitting particles. Note that the observed synchrotron power at 944 MHz for ORC 5 is significantly larger, e.g., ≈5.5 × 10²³ W Hz⁻¹ (Koribalski et al. 2021).
