Caption: Figure 1.

Left: three-color figure of the Orion region. Blue corresponds to Hα emission from Finkbeiner (2003), yellow is extinction measured by Planck Collaboration et al. (2011), and purple is 26Al emission from Diehl et al. (1995). Spines of the major molecular clouds in the region from Z21 are shown with purple, green, and cyan dots corresponding to Orion λ, Orion A, and Orion B, respectively. White dots correspond to the stars in OBP-Near/Briceño-1 (OBP-B1). The blue star corresponds to the flux center of Barnard’s Loop (Reynolds & Ogden 1979), and the orange star indicates the center of expansion of OBP-B1 from S21. Right: two-color combinations of the three main observables. Top right: Hα and extinction. Middle right: Hα & 26Al. Lower right: 26Al and extinction. Subsequent 2D visualizations in this work are different combinations of observables from this figure.
