Intrinsic velocity widths measured for the neutral and low‐ionization ions. The solid line is the best fit to H I, N I, and O I alone. The slope of the line gives the temperature of the gas, ﹩T=1.15\times 10^{4}﹩ K, and the intercept gives the turbulent velocity, ﹩b_{\mathrm{turb}\,}=2.56﹩ km s−1. The D I absorption comes from the same gas as the H I, N I, and O I.
