Slits and footprints of the 23 Keck I/LRIS slitmasks observed during the 2014–2017 CLAMATO campaign in the COSMOS field, overlaid on top of the deep Hubble Space Telescope ACS F814W mosaic of the same field (Koekemoer et al. 2007). The blue box indicates the footprint of the reconstructed tomographic map from the ﹩2.15\lt z\lt 2.55﹩ Lyα forest absorption. Most of the slitmasks were designed to achieve a uniform survey layer (dark green), while several were “special” slitmasks (red) designed to obtain additional sightlines in specific regions; see Table 1. The numbers in gray approximately label the field positions.
