Histogram of the residuals of our map with the Planck14 radiance-based reddening estimate, as a function of the SFD reddening. We exclude the Galactic midplane (defined as ﹩\left|b\right|\lt 15^\circ ﹩). The left panel compares our uncorrelated map (initial iteration) with Planck, while the right panel compares our correlated map (final iteration) with Planck. All reddenings are in magnitudes of ﹩E\left(g-r\right)﹩. The blue lines give the 16th percentile, median, and 84th percentile of the reddening residuals at each distance.
