Caption: Figure 6.

Left: spectra of J0849 taken between 2004 and 2018. Interestingly, a broad He II feature appears at 4686 Å in 2013, then disappears before 2018. Center: the broad Hα feature (top) disappears and reappears over the course of 14 years, while broad Hβ (bottom) fully disappears (spectra taken 2013 January 16 and 2014 December 25 not shown due to poor signal-to-noise ratio). Right: light curves from the Catalina Real Time Survey (S. G. Djorgovski et al. 2011) and the Zwicky Transient Facility (F. J. Masci et al. 2018; E. C. Bellm et al. 2019; M. J. Graham et al. 2019). Vertical blue lines on the x-axis correspond to the spectra in the leftmost panel. J0849 exhibits a 0.6 mag rise in the g band starting in 2018 and ending in 2021.
