An interactive figure of the 2016 and 2020 X-ray light curves of LMC 1968 as observed by the XRT instrument on Swift. The red circles are the 2016 data while the blue diamonds show the 2020 data. Both data sets are scaled so that the optical peak is day zero in this plot. The two data sets complement each other early in the eruption and are essentially identical when the data overlap. The interactive version has three views that allow one to view the data with a linear or logarithmic Y-axis with error ranges and connecting lines between data points to help guide the eye. The log view provides a better view of the later data when the source was significantly fainter. The interactive controls allow the user to turn on/off the display of the data, lines, and error ranges and zoom in and out of the figure. Use the alt/option button and the mouse to zoom in on a specific region of the data. The three horizontal bar icon in the upper right controls the figure. Click on it to switch views, reset the view, or even downloaded the data. A copy of the interactive figure can also be found at https://authortools.aas.org/LMC1968/.
An interactive version of this figure is available in the online journal.
