The distribution of ionization rate for our new model considering the propagation of cosmic rays along magnetic fields and that for the conventional model considering the vertical attenuation of cosmic rays in the disk around IM Lup. The white lines represent the scale height of the disk (which is ﹩\sqrt{2}﹩ times larger than the definition of Zhang et al. 2021), and the green dots mark the regions where the cosmic rays are the dominant ionization source.
