Tidal disruption rates ﹩\dot{N}﹩ as a function of SMBH mass ﹩{M}_{\bullet }﹩. The blue curve shows model A3 for NGC 3156 and is fairly representative of all six of our models for I(R). The black curve shows the power law best-fit for a large galaxy sample obtained from Stone & Metzger (2016).
