Uncertainties are displayed as vertical colored lines, though only the 216 μm line extends outside its plot symbol. Two types of notional least-squares fits are indicated. The dashed black curve is a linear fit of BPA vs. wavelength, and the dotted gray curve is a power-law fit. Both fits indicate only very weak departures with wavelength from the mean BPA.
