Digital Palomar Observatory Sky Survey (Djorgovski et al. 1998) representation of GF 9 region. White contours show Planck 850 μm intensity, cyan polygon represents the SOFIA HAWC+ 216 μm coverage, the black box shows the Mimir field of view, and the yellow diamond shows the location of the GF 9-2 YSO. The GF 9 filamentary dark cloud is the faint, mostly starless region that extends from the lower right to the middle-upper left in the image.
