Tests of the effects of errors in the assumed position of the exoplanet on the recovered transmission spectrum. Red is reference case with no errors. The green case uses an orbital inclination to derive the planet’s position that is changed by −0.°1, resulting in an offset of the assumed position. Blue shows that the center of transit is assumed to be 90 s later than when simulating the observations.
