B – R histogram of 148 Centaurs and KBOs. Application of a GMM decomposes our sample into two normal distributions, one with mean B – R = 1.22 and σ = 0.13, and the other with mean B – R = 1.69 and σ = 0.13. Application of the dip test to the sample gives a p-value of 0.006, i.e., a ﹩99.4 \% ﹩ confidence in bimodality.
